Healing is for the physical
ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God
through the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands.
It is provided in the
atonement of Christ, and is the privilege of every member of
the Church today (Mark 18:18; Jam. :14-25; 1 Pet. 2:24;
Matt. 8:17; Isa. 53:4,5).
Deliverance is for the
spiritual and social problems which are often caused by
demonic power from which the individual needs to be
delivered. In this regard, we are informed by God's Word,
that:
"We wrestle not against
flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places". (Eph. 6:12).
